In April and August 2012, Jane Ledwell of the PEI Advisory Council on the Status of Women and PEI Coalition for Women in Government scanned local news and editorial content in the Charlottetown Guardian to find out how women and women's leadership show up in the paper.

Find out what she learned about women in PEI from looking at more than 1,500 articles and photos. Share your ideas in a conversation about what we all can do to improve the profile of Island women and women's leadership.

Presented as a partnership of the Confederation Centre Public Library, the PEI Advisory Council on the Status of Women, and the PEI Coalition for Women in Government.
